Born in Seattle on January 7, 1964, Rodger received a B.A. degree from Western Washington University (1987) and a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law (1992). He was a member of the Oregon & Washington State Bar Associations and a member of the Oregon Bar Workers’ Compensation Section Executive Committee since 1993, serving as Section Treasurer (1999 – 2001), Secretary (2002), Chair Elect (2003), and Chair (2004).
Athletic and lean, Rodger enjoyed running, playing basketball and bicycling. He particularly savored spending time with his children. Calm and respectful, Rodger had a wry sense of humor filed with impish sarcasm.
He is survived by his wife, Casey; their children, Haley, Blake, and Alex; and his mother.
