2019 Night to Shine

For the second year, members of the firm, clients and family members volunteered Friday, February 8, 2019, at Night to Shine, an event that provides a prom-night experience for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. More than 30 volunteered.

The event took place at Newberg Christian Church. Night to Shine provided volunteers with a variety of meaningful ways to participate: volunteers were dance floor attendants and boogieing on the dance floor with guests, running the karaoke station, guiding guests between activities, providing hair and makeup services, assisting with general set up and tear down, and even acting as “paparazzi” and cheer guests as they walk down a red carpet and into the prom-night experience. Students from nearby George Fox University also volunteered as guest chaperones.

This year the firm also sponsored a photo booth. A sample of picture strips are at the bottom of this page.

Night to Shine is a national event that happens on the same night in different cities across the country, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation (a former NFL player)

Kudos again to attorney Sara Wong for reaching out to the organization and rallying the volunteers!
