Flynn P. Burke

Senior Associate / Washington Appeals

Overview

Flynn Burke is a litigation associate, representing Washington-based clients in all aspects of workers’ compensation matters.

Before joining Reinisch Wilson PC in 2020, Flynn served as an appellate litigator in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. From simple theft to homicide cases, he defended the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania against rule-based, statutory, and constitutional challenges to criminal convictions. He also advised office leadership on policy and other sensitive matters. He regularly presented oral argument before one of two statewide intermediate appellate courts, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and defended two cases before the state’s highest court, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

As a student at Georgetown University Law Center, Flynn was elected Senior Notes Editor on the American Criminal Law Review, and worked as a legal clerk in the Homicide Section of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Federal Tort Claims Act Section of the United States Department of Justice.

I strive to foster trust with clients, and I work relentlessly to see that claims and concerns are resolved favorably.

In his free time, Flynn can be found on the (disc-golf) links, plotting a backpacking trip, sizing up trees to hang a hammock, or trekking on his bike.
