The Firm goes to the dogs (and cats)

August is pet month at Reinisch Wilson Weier! Rhinoteers in both Bellevue and Portland offices helped out at pet shelters.

In Bellevue, four volunteered at PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society) in Lynnwood, Washington, on August 24, 2019, helping with grounds maintenance. (Those who help with animal care go through extensive training and make a weekly commitment to a volunteer position.) Learn more about PAWS and the many ways it helps dogs, cats and wildlife here https://www.paws.org/.

The Portland office socialized with animals at the Oregon Humane Society in Portland on August 27, 2019. Sixteen volunteers hung out with animals: many belly rubs and ear scratches were given, helping animals feel more confident around people. Socialization helps animals find fur-ever homes. You can read a blog about a recent paw-sitive socialization experience here https://www.oregonhumane.org/volunteer-groups-help-pets/.

Both offices are also holding a pet supply drive into September for their respective pet agencies.

No word on if or when the Firm offices will become dog-friendly.
